Primeira Liga, now named Liga ZON Sagres after its main sponsors, ZON Multimédia and Sagres, is the top professional association football division of the Portuguese football league system.
The Liga ZON Sagres is contested by 16 clubs each season, but only five of them have won the title. Founded in 1934, the league is in its 80th edition and is dominated by the nicknamed "Big Three": SL Benfica, FC Porto, and Sporting CP, who have a total of 77 titles, with Belenenses and Boavista winning the other two.

Ligue 1

 

Ligue 1 is the French professional league for association football clubs. It is the country's primary football competition and serves to the top division of the French football league system. Ligue 1 is one of two divisions making up the Ligue de Football Professionnel, the other being Ligue 2. Contested by 20 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Ligue 2.

Serie A

Serie A  also called Serie A TIM due to sponsorship by Telecom Italia, is a professional league competition for football clubs located at the top of the Italian football league system and has been operating for over eighty years since the 1929–30 season. It had been organized by Lega Calcio until 2010, but a new league, the Lega Serie A, was created for the 2010–11 season. Serie A is regarded as one of the best football leagues in the world. Serie A was considered the best league in the world in the '90s, up until mid-2000.

Liga BBVA

The First Division or Primera División (Spanish) Spanish Championship, known as La Liga and being sponsored by Banco BBVA is also known as Liga BBVA, is contested by twenty clubs, the competition system is to do points, where the clubs play each other in round-robin system.
First place at the end of the championship is sacred Spanish Champion and with the second, third and fourth placed ranks for the UEFA Champions League. The clubs that finish in 5th and 6th placings are classified for the UEFA Europa League. The three lowest placed teams are relegated to the Segunda División.

The Premier League (also known as the Barclays Premier League for sponsorship issues) is a professional football league in England and it is at the top of the league system of English football, the main football competition of the country. It is contested by twenty clubs in consecutive points system, in which the end of each season the top four participate in the UEFA Champions League. And the bottom three are relegated to the Football League Championship, giving rise to the three best of this competition.
